Looks to do something slightly different each day
I know how to work hard and I have since
my first days at Pontillo’s Pizzeria in Bushnell’s Basin, working my way
up to management. Since graduating Pittsford Mendon High School in 2002,
I have transferred to three different schools.
I attended Kent State University for 2
years, knocking off my liberal arts classes and spending some time on my
own, outside of Rochester. After figuring out what I wanted to do, I
came back to Rochester to attend Monroe Community College for an
International Business degree & Liberal Arts and Sciences degree. From
there, I was ready to transfer my credits to Rochester Institute of
Technology.
Still leaning towards business and being
interested in the growing telecommunication field, I decided to work for
a Management Information Systems degree; I am currently at senior
status. My school transfers and diverse travels have added to my
well-balanced and well-rounded character. If the opportunity arises, and
I see that I can learn from it, I will most definitely take a chance at
that opportunity.
My most current job
position (past 6 months), as a Global Information Systems Intern at Global Crossing
Telecommunications, has put me in the position to learn the new
Microsoft SharePoint 2007 software, and how to apply migration and
design techniques to create an appealing and user-friendly interface. I
was able to interact with people at every level within the company to
get the job done effectively and efficiently.
"Always open to change and
opportunity"
